This intensive Cadaveric Ultrasound-Guided Procedures Masterclass is meticulously designed for healthcare professionals seeking to sharpen their current guided-injections skills, and develop procedural excellence in musculoskeletal ultrasound-guided interventions. Building upon foundational sonoanatomy and injection skills, this program focuses on practical hands on teaching and precise needle guidance for the comprehensive range of common and complex pathologies detailed in our curriculum.
Interventions covered:
– Ultrasound-guided injections
– Nerve hydro-dissections
– Barbotage
– Shoulder hydrodistension
– High-volume injections
The course is held at the King’s College London Cadaveric laboratory, to provide students with real life tangible interventional training to bring into their clinic practice.
Our core focus is on providing, accessible Consultant-Radiologist led training, to provide the highest technical teaching standard across all major joints and soft tissues.
You will gain mastery in interventional techniques ranging from simple joint and bursal injections to complex treatments like tendon fenestration, nerve hydrodissection, and high-volume capsular distension.
The course utilises a low delegate-to-tutor ratio and high-specification ultrasound machines to ensure ample intervention practice and tutor guidance. This ensures you maximise your ability to perform these complex procedures.
Delegate learning outcomes:
– Identify pathology
– Clinically reason between interventions.
– Precise needle placement + visualisation.
– Confidence in interventional techniques
